My Week 4 Reflection!

What:

We are learning to understand the author's purpose. The book I’m reading is War Games. It’s about friendship and even though you're a little different, you can still have some things in common.

So What:

Learning about the author’s purpose helps me with understanding the text. It also helps me evaluate and think of what the book is like. Sometimes it helps me to understand what the author is trying to say and what they mean.

Now What:

I can use this to improve my reading skills and understand better what the author means. I will practice evaluating and understanding the text so I understand what I am reading in many different ways.

Xtramath's Certificate Finished Subtraction!

I am finally on subtraction! Yay! My new goal I set is to make it to Multiplication. I'm sure I will make it there soon!

My First Ever Explain Everything! (Rounding and Compensating)

I think I did well, anyway, it was my first time! It was really fun playing around with Explain Everything on the iPads! I love learning about new tools on the iPods and iPads. The best part about this adventure was trying out the new ways of writing, erasing, colours etc. Technology is so great!

Wish: I wish for me to get used to this app and learn to make my words more interesting and me sounding like I am more into maths

The Adventures Of 2015 Toma!

Bonjour everyone! Future me here!
We are now in week 2 of Term 1!
I am loving the new classroom already with new friends and technology.
McCahon has set some goals for this Term and I am surely going to share them later on.
The best thing about school is the new ways we do our work and much more difficult activities!
Our class has been named after a famous artist called Colin McCahon. He is surely great at art!

The thing I am looking forward to is riding the adventure train!
